Of Each Sense

forgiveness in my ears
a part of my skin
its glowing, forgiveness
reaching my heart, pumping
through my veins
under my nose, it's the smell
I greet in the morning
it's the scent I burn, and the
lesson that I've, learned
forgiveness is what it taste
like, sugar bittersweet
salty, with the tears I weep
so bitter heart, bitterly cut
take a leap
it's in the tie of his shoe
the sole of his feet, dirty dishes
and all of the shared kisses
forgiveness, is what he reeks of, taste like,
it's all he hears, it's all I hear
forgiveness, its in his eyes
forgiveness, now its in mine
